Izzy wasn't sure about baby Wes at first, but now she is super cute. She is very willing to share her toys and wants to play blocks and animals with him. She even offered her little Cinderella figure to him, which is a very big deal. I don't even get to play with Cinderella.
The first thing she does when she wakes up is look for baby brother and is very concerned if he is not where she can see him. Izzy doesn't show a lot of interest in holding him, but does ask to carry him every so often. She is very concerned when Wes cries and likes to try to give him his paci.
Overall Izzy is a cute big sister and very proud of her baby brother.
Thought I would throw this picture in just because Wes is just so dang cute!

Hi is super cute!!! I'm glad Izzy is taking well to her new brother. :-)
That last picture is adorable! And thank goodness for older siblings...they take such good care of their 'babies'!
Awwwwwwwww!!! Love it. So cute!!! You getting any sleep momma?
HE is beautiful. I'm so glad that Izzy loves him. How fun to have siblings.
Aww, sooo cute! He already looks different from when I saw him last!YAY for Izzy!
Hello Wilsons! I grew up with Justin and Amanda and just had to comment on the cute pictures and post about your new little one. Congrats! I LOVE the picture at the top of your blog with Izzy's hair all a mess, like it's such hard work being an older sister! :) And don't get use to her sharing her toys, that will only last until he actually wants to play with them...! I hope little Wesley (love the name) gives his big sis all the heartache and torture that his dad gave Amanda... We could never get rid of him back in elementary school. Don't make them share a room, I'm begging you for Izzy's sake! Such a cute family, sorry I'm a blog hopper and crashed into your personal space! :) Take care!
Congrats you guys. I do love that pic of Izzy and Wesley at the top. Too cute and the picture of you looking so happy right before you went to the hospital. Were you contracting at all? You looked too perky. You'll have to tell your story. Does Justin deliver your babies? Well good job. and good luck with 2. I'm super nervous about 3. it'll all be good right.
Don't let Kim scare you! She was just scared and always running--hoping she didn't get mixed up in between me and Just during our fights. ha ha...the memories. I'm glad we are all still so close. In fact Kim will once & a while say that Alex reminds her so much of Justin.
I'm so excited to be seeing all thes pics. Justin did want to make sure I saw Izzy's hair at the top holding her brother. So darn cute of course. Sometimes I feel like my hair looks like that after a day in household. Wesley is a big boy. I was thinking that it may be cute if you caught a video clip of him crying and then post for us all to hear. He's cry has got to be the cutest!
Ok so I was just showing Ben pics of his cousins again and I have to tell you what he's saying. "More baby! More baby too! More baby too! More baby too! More baby too! MY BABY!" And every time he says "too" he says it really high pitched---so funny. I think if we were around then he and Izzy would be very protective over lil Wesley.
Ok so I also forgot to mention that I'm with Izzy----GO TN VOLS!
Abby, he is so handsome. Look at his hair and that cutest face. So fun! How are you? We will have to chat soon. That is soooooo great that Izzy is so wonderful with him. What a lucky little boy to have a doting big sis.
Your going to think "Stop commenting already" I know but the brain farts I've been having lately are unreal. I meant to say TN Titans (not vols--although I still cheer for them too). K love ya
He's too cute! Love the hair. And I remember Abby acting the same way when Olivia came into our family, but she loves having a playmate, (and me too!) Have fun with your little man!
Abby and Justin,
It is so great to see pictures and hear about your new baby! Isabelle is a perfect combo of you two. I saw here picture at the top of the page and thought...Justin and Abby both.
How is Anesthesia at Vanderbilt? I am loving me a last year here in North Carolina. Alan has one more year though, so I am considering a one year fellowship/attending position here at UNC. By the end of the month we should be set to go with either a job or a fellowship/anesthesia combo.
Thanks for rememebering us. If you ever want to come out to the coast, pick us up on the way.
Love,
Lindsay and Alan
PS I don't know if I have your correct phone number. Mine remains the same.
so CUTE! Congratulations! I'm a little behind on blogs, but yeah for you. I'm excited that all went well and you have your cute little boy. they are so much fun!
