Wes: I'll be up around 1:00 a.m. to nurse and have a really wet diaper that leaks so my jammies need to be changed. I'll cry a lot.
Iz: Great! That means I will get up at 2:00 a.m. and say that I have to go potty. Meanwhile I will make a really big deal about wanting to sleep in mommy's bed and cry a lot.
Wes: Okay, I will get up at 4:00 to eat. Then around 5:00 I will get restless and cry a lot because I have gas pain and need to burp.
Iz: Okay I will get up at 5:30 and insist on a cup of milk and watching a show. I'll be up for good by then. If necessary, I will cry a lot.

This made me laugh alot. Thanks! I really think you are right though...kids totally ruin our sleep!
Aw, the joy of having a newborn and a toddler! The kids may be twenty before we get any sleep! I enjoyed your post. I will think about you when I am up all night!
The joys!!! I can relate!! I can't believe how old Iz is!!! And I didn't know you had a little guy too!!! How are you guys doing? I linked to your blog from Amy's. I hope you (and your hair hehe) are doing well!!
Holly
At least your kids are communicating with each other nicely. :-)
Hang in there Abs...it gets better!
Amen sister. Wish you lived closer, we could wave to each other through the window at 2, 3, 4 and 5 am :)
Thanks for the positive outlook....
Oh Abs you have me crying alot too and Wes & Iz never even told me a thing...I swear. I know it's hard but this too shall pass. Crazy huh & it's probably the last thing you want to hear. The 1st thing is silence so you can catch some zzzz's I know. I hope you can take advantage of someone to take Izzy on a field trip or something during the day so you can nap w/Wes. Oh how I wish I (me & the boys) were there to entertain Izzy while you slept. A few hours sure makes a difference!
You poor thing! I'll be right with you in a few months. I guess I'd better enjoy the sleep I get while it lasts!
Amen sista! LOL That totally made me laugh and I totally agree with it!!
So true, so true. The good news is, it gets better.
ROUGH NIGHT! Not fun....they look so happy and innocent.
It's so true! I'm so sorry...that sounds like a circus! I feel for ya...hang in there!
