You've Been Tagged

So both Jensa (college roomie) and Lindsay (HS friend) tagged me with the same tag. I figure it must be going around, so enjoy...

1. What were you doing 10 years ago?

In February of 1998 I was getting ready to graduate from South Fremont High School, trying to decide if I should go to Ricks or USU or BYU. I had pretty much decided on USU because I received a great scholarship. I admit that my main goal in life was to hang out with my friends and enjoy my senior year.

2. 5 things on my to-do list today?
I always have a little to-do list going on in my head. Sometimes I actually accomplish it.

  • clean my floors
  • go to the store
  • answer this tag
  • go to the gym

3. 5 snacks that I enjoy:

  • tortilla with melted cheese
  • chocolate chip cookes
  • grahmn crackers with frosting
  • brownies
  • salt and vinegar pringles

4. 3 bad habits:

  • playing addiciting computer games
  • leaving laundry until it's completly out of control
  • not sending thank you notes to people

5. What would you do if you were instantly a billionaire?

Pay off Justin's school loans. Put a lot in savings. Go to Hawaii and probably Europe. Donate to the Church. Get a new car. Go on a shopping spree. Sod my yard. Man that is a lot of money... the possibilities are endless.

6. Places I’ve lived:

  • St. Anthony, ID
  • Mesa, AZ (for a few months)
  • Logan, UT
  • West Yellowstone, MT
  • Fruit Heights, UT
  • Hershey, PA

8. 5 things people don’t know about me (this is really hard for me, I'm not a very private person):

  • I'm really OCD when I fold laundry and clean my house.
  • My favorite flavor of ice cream is Heavenly Hash.
  • When I was little I dreamed of being a ballerina.
  • I never sleep in.
  • I have to wear a mouth gaurd and night because I few years ago I started grinding my teeth.

So now I tag, Becca, Becca, and Summer.

Snow Day

Okay, so those of you who live in Utah and other places that get lots of snow, you have to understand, it does not snow here. Everything in the state was closed down the other day because of our little inch of snow. To their credit, the roads do get pretty slick when it snows because it is so icy, but it still makes me laugh.

Anyway, I have been missing snow a lot this winter. Every time I talk to my mom and she says it snowed some more in Utah, I get kind of jealous. I grew up where winter was the longest season of the year and I think that if it is going to be cold, we should at least get the fun of snow. I love sledding and building snowmen, and snowball fights. I love to bundle up in a coat, hat, and mittens then go outside and feel protected from the elements. Then you get to come inside, shed your snow clothes and drink some yummy hot chocolate and cuddle up in a blanket while watching a good movie or reading a favorite book. It really is the best. Alright enough nostalgia.
I knew I would have to take Izzy outside when I saw the snow-covered ground. I got her all dressed up in Maddy's old snow clothes plus the hat and mittens Aunt Amy sent for Christmas. We didn't have any boots, but seriously, we maybe had a inch of snow. I think Izzy looked so dang cute. She could barely walk, and when she fell down, she was stuck. Besides falling down, she was crazy about the snow. She kept kicking it around and she was really mad when I made her come in and take off the snow pants. Later that day she insisted on wearing her snow pants again. So she wore them to the grocery store. What a silly Izzy!

Good Morning Izzy

I walked into Isabella's room to get her up other morning and this is what I found. Make sure you watch until the very end, because she does a little showing off.

Aunt Aubrey comes to visit

My littlest sister, Aubrey, has been here in TN visiting for the last few weeks. I took her to the airport this morning and I was really sad to see her go. I loved the chance to get to her know better and for her to play with Izzy. Izzy absolutely loved Aubrey! By the time she left, Isabella did a pretty good job at saying her name and was very willing to give her kisses. We didn't do anything too exciting, just played a bunch of Karaoke and hung out and chatted, but I had a great time. I love you Aubs, come back any time!!!

Izzy's Friends

Isabella has started getting so cute about other kids her age. We were looking at pictures the other day and she saw a picture of my friend's little boy Coal. She immediately pointed at the picture and said his name. It was very cute. He is about five months older than her and he gets pretty excited to see her too.

Izzy also says, "Emma." Emma was born two days after her and so Emma's mom and I are always forcing them to be "bff." They are pretty cute girls.

This is a funny video of their silly moms making them kiss.

Pretty in Pig Tails

Izzy's hair is finally starting to get a little longer. She's always had a lot of hair, but is seems like it has been taking forever to grow. A few weeks ago I attempted to put two little pig tails in her hair. I think it's pretty dang cute. It's not easy to get them in and half the time she rips them out, but when they are left in, I can not believe how stinking cute she looks!

This is Isabella's Christmas dress from her Grandma Bennett. Grandma has been dying to see Izzy in it. I just love it!
